This is due to XP writing its bootloader over Windows 7’s. I had one hard drive with 3 partitions and the C drive has Win XP Pro as my OS. Maybe it's because the 7 should detect the XP Drive first so that it could create a Dual boot system. I installed windows 7 on my new SATA drive.

Now type in SHRINK.
