For some screwy reason when I installed IE 8 on a computer, it went and changed these settings, thus the inability to connect through any browser whatsoever even though the network Thank you! Spent a day running spyware scans (and did catch some stuff). None of these options worked for me. Check This Out

Restart IE. up vote 24 down vote favorite 8 Whenever I use the trim() function on a string, it works fine with Chrome and Firefox but I get an error in IE8 saying Then I was able to reinstall Windows. I have spent months struggling with this issue.

It works. Disabling Enhanced Protected Mode Windows 7, Internet Explorer 11 - 3d solution worked for me. Awesome - really really thank you!

Within about 1 minute IE8 was back up and running on my WIN Xp computer.THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH.
