It doesn't really bother me though. Other then using youtube, my PC has the occasional hang for 20-30s, which is kind of annoying, hoping after reading this i will solve this issue. Just now it lasts a few minutes so I can't do a resource scan. Not everybody is on Reddit and not everybody can repair it.

Again, I am reassured that the thermal paste might just work, not counting on it though. AMT probably was probably not compatible with my SSD. It doesn't seem like it was just the drivers through, as I also tried installing an older version of Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers, which did not make a difference.
Windows Installer can create logs to help troubleshoot issues with installing software packages. I don't know who dropped the ball where win 7 64 is concerned, but there allot of people having problems. It is very hard for the mobo maker to test all the RAM that is out there. Unfortunately I'm out of ideas, and am guessing its some type of hardware issue.
