But in terms of uninstalling Symantec Antivirus from my PC, in Blue Screen View, the dump file didn't specify anything (highlight in red) anything to do with Symantec? When I ran it the way instructed in MS forums (checking all tests except two), I would get a DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION on boot, with no dump generated. As such, I tend to let things go until I have problems - then I scramble to update EVERYTHING. No offending third party drivers have been found.
