  • Back in Registry Editor, set "Mode" to "1" and "LogicalViewMode" to "3" to restore normal icons on the desktop.

On the other hand, if I delete a file or folder on the XP machine FROM the Vista machine, the Vista machine (and the XP machine) both know it's gone. So it is an expected behavior for CPF to report these behaviors.it is better for you to disable "Monitor Window Messages" and "Monitor OLE/COM Requests" options in Security->Advanced section.
